To strengthen peaceful coexistence between refugees and host communities by empowering young people and women, supporting social and economic integration, and mobilizing volunteers and resources where they are needed most.

Who we are
VPEACE, also known as VPAIX, is a nonprofit organization incorporated federally in Canada and registered extra-provincially in Quebec. We work to strengthen peaceful coexistence between refugees and host communities.
Our story
Started by refugee student volunteers
VPEACE began as an initiative of refugee student volunteers who came together to respond to urgent challenges affecting underserved communities.
Our work is shaped by lived experience, community knowledge, and a belief that everyone has something valuable to contribute. We bring people, volunteers, and resources together to support communities and help create opportunities for a more inclusive future.
